Dear Friends,
SAR's theme for this year is arvut -- connections. Since SAR's inception, the concept of being connected to each other, klal Yisrael, and to the world at large has been at the center of our school's core values. This year's honorees, Judith and Harry Ballan, Milly Rosner, Stephanie Schneider Minkove and Abbie and Moshe Greenberg, are each wonderful examples of individuals who have internalized this concept. By conducting their lives with derech eretz and illustrating the mitzvah of tikun olam, what better role models could we have to teach our children "kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh… every Jew is responsible for one another."
More so than ever we need to raise money for our wonderful institution. The school is filled to capacity, and SAR is graduating highly educated, committed, Zionistic students who are inspired by Torah learning, doing Mitzvot and understanding the importance of Chesed.
In order to support and grow this mission, every dollar counts. We all care about a stellar Jewish education for our kids and their strong commitment to Israel, so please, as best you can in these challenging times, we humbly request that this year you consider making SAR your priority in giving.
With your much needed support, the dinner will be fabulous and we look forward to celebrating with you.
