Welcome to the SAR 44th Anniversary Dinner

We are thrilled to celebrate SAR’s 44th anniversary dinner and recognize a very distinguished group of honorees:

Ayelet and Jonathan Wiener, Guests of Honor
Dr. Laurel Hecht, Michael Schreck Memorial Community Service Award
Lisi (Benovitz) Mandel (’89), Alumna of the Year
Gloria Perelman Schneider, Audrey Schurgin Memorial Faculty Award

Our school-wide theme for this year is דביקות/קדושה. This refers to the ways that the presence of G-d in our lives shapes the way that we live, the choices that we make and the expectations that we have. As a Modern Orthodox school, SAR strives to maintain and develop a unique balance of commitment to Torah and mitzvot with a confident and embracing openness to the world. Striking that balance demands inspiration as well as constant reflection. This year’s honorees are individuals who understand and exemplify this ideal, having committed their lives to תורה ומדע.

SAR is fortunate to have an incredible staff, cutting edge technology and constantly improving programming. We are filled to capacity and are graduating students who are highly educated and strongly committed to Torah, chesed and Eretz Yisrael. Now more than ever, we need to raise money for SAR.

Please join us on January 26th to celebrate our school, our community and our honorees. Respond to the dinner and place your journal ad by clicking here.

Your participation in this year’s Dinner is important. We humbly request that you make SAR a priority in your giving. Even if you cannot attend, help us achieve our goal of 100% participation. We look forward to celebrating with you!
